the classroom clock, the fire alarm, many digital clocks, microwaves, etc. When digital engineers tackle problems in digital electronics, they need to focus on the following process:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Define the Problem<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Calculate and Design a Solution<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simulate the Solution<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Breadboard the Solution<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Test &amp; Evaluate<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicate Results<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not surprisingly, the task of digital engineers follows a path very similar to the engineering design process we\u2019re used to.\u00a0 The biggest difference is that the digital electronic process requires more mathematics and simulation.
